Dr. Lopez is a board-certified Orthopedic Certified Specialist who grew up in Georgia and ran cross country and track as an undergraduate at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from NYU, then worked at an outpatient rehab facility while completing an orthopedic residency. She has taken extensive post-doctoral coursework in women's health, manual therapy, post-operative care, pediatrics, and sports rehab. She holds additional certifications in Integrative Dry Needling, IASTM, Pilates, and as a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, giving her a wide-ranging toolkit for orthopedic and postpartum care alike.
It's the small habits. How you spend your mornings. How you talk to yourself. What you read and what you watch. Who you share your energy with. Who has access to you. That will change your life.
Dr. Lopez brings adventure, curiosity, determination, faith, respect, trustworthiness, and kindness to every patient relationship, treating your recovery as a partnership built one small, consistent habit at a time.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Lopez spends her time with family, hiking, paddleboarding, running, teaching, and practicing Pilates and yoga. A former collegiate cross country and track runner, she stays just as active off the clock as she encourages her patients to be.
