Dr. Biland is a Cornell University graduate who earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware in 2010. She began her career in sports and orthopedic care at JFK Medical Center and Atlantic Health Sports PT, then launched a dedicated Pelvic Physical Therapy program at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ in 2012. Certified in dry needling, she treats complex pelvic pain in both men and women, along with postpartum, perimenopausal, and menopausal patients, and incontinence and other undertreated pelvic conditions. Her own pregnancy and postpartum experience, after the birth of her first daughter in 2013, shaped her mission: to help women grow their knowledge and restore their wellness.
Curiosity is the spark behind every great idea. The future belongs to the curious
Empathy and holistic healing anchor Dr. Biland’s care, along with a determination to stay curious, so that every patient’s plan reflects the full picture of what they are going through, not just the symptom in front of her.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Biland can usually be found on a softball field watching her two daughters play, or at home gardening, reading, and looking after her three cats and spending time with friends.
