Dr. Hira spent her childhood in Zambia before moving to Texas at age 10. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Her background spans orthopedics, post-operative care, sports injury, and breast cancer and oncology rehabilitation, and she now focuses on prenatal and postpartum rehab, pain with intercourse, and chronic pelvic pain. She is certified in both dry needling and pelvic health, and loves educating and raising awareness about pelvic and women's health.
Comparison is the thief of joy
Balance and wellbeing guide Dr. Hira’s approach, both in how she cares for her patients and in how she encourages them to think about their own recovery: progress measured against your own goals, not anyone else’s timeline.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Hira treasures time with close friends and family, hiking, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her dog Stormy.
