Dr. Tejal Ramaiya, PT, DPT, CSCS, Owner
Since 2002, Dr. Tejal Ramaiya has been helping athletes and active adults get back to the workouts and training they’re missing out on when everything else has let them down. She primarily works with competitive or amateur triathletes, runners, golfers, and any athletes or active adult who prioritizes health and fitness. She received her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2002 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2004 from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Upon graduation from physical therapy school, she took on a number of positions in outpatient orthopedics and sports physical therapy where she served a variety of clientele including post-surgical cases, sports injuries, pediatrics, triathletes, and geriatrics. Over the years, she has earned a number of specialized certifications including:
- Certification in Strength and Conditioning
- Trigger Point Dry Needling
- Graston technique
- Titleist Performance Institute Golf Fitness Assessment
- Functional Movement Screening and Selective Functional Movement Assessment
In 2016, she felt a need in the physical therapy space for higher quality care, service and patient experience. This lead to the opening of Body Moksha Physical Therapy in Chatham, NJ where she has been helping athletes reach their goals daily.
Dr. Jennifer Ryan, PT, DPT, CSCS
Dr. Jen Ryan received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from George Washington University in Washington, DC, and her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State. Jen is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Certified Clinical Athlete Weightlifting Coach, and a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.
Jen worked as a Civil Engineer for two years while coaching CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting in her spare time. Her love of functional movement and helping people reach their fitness and lifestyle goals led her to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.
Jen believes that her patients are the experts of their bodies and is passionate about empowering people to take their health into their own hands. Jen ensures that her patients are active participants in their therapy so that they leave each session knowing more about the foundations of movement. She integrates strength and conditioning, mindfulness, and stress management in order to build self efficacy and confidence during rehabilitation and beyond.
Jen loves helping people do what makes them happy and designs her treatment approach to keep you active while you work towards your therapy goals.
Outside of Physical Therapy, Jen competes in Olympic Weightlifting, is an avid backpacker and snowboarder and enjoys doing anything outside with her two dogs.
